Appointments can be made for booking testing at ALL sites online here or by calling 807-935-8100.

Superior North EMS will provide testing for people under the age of 4, or who have mobility issues.
These tests will be arranged through the TBRHSC COVID-19 Assessment Centre

Children experiencing ANY ONE major symptom of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath or decrease of taste/smell) should isolate at home and be tested for COVID-19. Isolation should be continued until 24 hours after symptoms have resolved if the test is negative, or for a minimum of 14 days if the test is positive.

Children experiencing ANY TWO OR MORE minor symptoms of COVID-19 (sore throat, nasal congestion/runny nose, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, muscle aches) should isolate at home. We recommend COVID-19 testing as it is not possible to differentiate between COVID-19 and other viral illnesses based on symptoms alone.

The current guideline advises that children experiencing ONLY ONE minor symptom do not necessarily need testing, but should isolate at home until they are well enough to return.

Children who have traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days should isolate at home and self monitor for symptoms.
