The Fort William Clinic is a group of 18 physicians practicing as a Family Health Organization (FHO) in Thunder Bay, Ontario. We are affiliated and work collaboratively with the Fort William Family Health Team, a comprehensive team of allied healthcare professionals made up of Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Nurses, a Dietitian and consulting Psychiatrists. Currently, the group provides primary care services to a patient population of approximately 17,000 and supports an in-depth Shared Mental Health program in partnership with the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Care Group.
We are currently recruiting for permanent and locum physicians who would be interested in working collaboratively with a team of physicians and health care professionals. We are a teaching site and host a Local Education Group (LEG) which provides training and research opportunities to learners of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM).
Compensation is based on a blended capitation model as a physician belonging to a Family Health Organization (FHO).
